Bouquets from the garden – Seasonal floristry

Jill from Flora Alba will teach you how to create beautiful cut flower arrangements using locally grown, seasonal flowers and foliage in this relaxed, fun and creative session.
You will gain skills in selecting and cutting seasonal flowers, see a demonstration of floristry techniques, and create your own display to take home.
This fun and creative workshop includes:
- How to gather flowers from the garden.
- Floristry demonstration.
- Hands-on tuition as you create your own arrangement.
- Seasonal tips to give you year round displays.
Jill from Flora Alba will be our tutor for the morning, sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge on Scottish grown cut flowers.
All materials will be provided. This workshop is suitable for anyone with an interest in cut flowers and floristry using home grown flowers.
No experience necessary. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and be prepared to be outside in all weathers!
The workshop will take place outdoors at Ravenscraig Walled Garden.

Accessibility
There is unmarked parking on site. Please note the terrain is mostly flat and the paths are gravel. Venue is outdoors with the exception of the working cabin.
This event will mostly take place in the orchard area of our gardens which is not recommended for wheelchairs due to steep access and narrow and uneven pathways.
