Support our work during the Big Give Green Match Challenge 2025
This week, your donation to Greener Kirkcaldy can make double the difference.
Greener Kirkcaldy’s Training Garden is at Ravenscraig Walled Garden. We offer courses, training and volunteer opportunities in gardening and growing tasty and seasonal fruit and vegetables. Our space includes a polytunnel, raised beds, seating area and an indoor classroom.
We also maintain a Community Orchard with over 100 fruit trees and a ‘wild area’ set aside for nature. Around 30 volunteers come to our sessions each month. And we run regular workshops and community events like Apple Day.

How your donation can make a difference
We have one week to raise £5,000 to support our work at Ravenscraig Walled Garden.
Any donations we receive through the Big Give from now until 12pm on Tuesday 29th April are generously doubled by a Big Give Champion. This means your donation can make double the difference.
Every pound we raise will support our community growing projects in Kirkcaldy.
£10 – Four packs of seed from a Scottish company – enough to grow lettuce for salads all summer, courgettes to feed a family and a forest of kale.
£25 – Three pairs of good quality secateurs to help us prune our fruit trees.
£50 – Six bags of reliable peat free seed compost to get our veg on the go.
£100 – Fleece and mesh to protect our crops from pests and weather.
