Community Fridge

Our Community Fridge at 8 East Fergus Place is part of Hubbub’s UK-wide Community Fridge network. We help to redistribute food that would otherwise go to waste.
According to Hubbub, the average UK family wastes £810 a year by throwing away food and drink which could have been eaten, and £3 billion is wasted by food sectors. So far Community Fridges have helped thousands of people connect to their communities, access nutritious food, save money and reduce waste.
We are trying out a new approach to the community fridge. It’s currently open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 11am and 3pm. The project run and staffed by volunteers.
