In this workshop you will explore the flavours of Italy and make some authentic dishes, including homemade bread and pasta. All dishes made can be taken away and enjoyed at home, and will be suitable for a plant-based diet.
- Focaccia Bread- A classic Italian bread flavoured with garlic and rosemary
- Panzanella- Tuscan salad made with toasted chunks of bread, tomato, herbs, garlic and dressed with a balsamic vinegar dressing
- Homemade Tagliatelle- Make and cook fresh egg pasta (vegan option available) and served with roasted pepper and tomato sauce or wild mushrooms and truffle oil (sauces are vegan)
This workshop will be led by our Community Chef Iain Mclellan, a skilled and talented Head Chef with over 20 years cooking experience. Iain is passionate about world cuisines and sharing his love of flavour combinations.
Some cooking skills are required in this workshop i.e. basic knife skills. Please bring some containers to take home your food. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you are booking.
There is disabled parking on site and The Lang Spoon Community Kitchen is wheelchair and mobility friendly.
