Coastal Connections – Climate Conversations
Monday 19th May : 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Come and see the Beach of Dreams sculptures on display at Ravenscraig Walled Gardens – and have your say on Fife coastlines and beaches.
As Fife hosts the Beach of Dreams, a UK-wide coastal arts festival exploring the unique heritage, cultures, and futures of our coastlines in the face of the climate emergency – come and join us for ‘Coastal Connections – Climate Conversations’.
Alongside this Creative Programme, Fifers are invited to make their local Climate Commitments, that will become part of a national sculpture, showcasing the power of community.
These are simple, actionable commitments that people, groups, or organisations can make to take care of the coastlines and respond to the climate crisis. These pledges can be as big or small as you desire, from individual actions to communitywide efforts.
This event is twinned with the walk and cycle events on the same day, this event takes place after the walk and cycle so participants are very welcome to join. Refreshments will be served in the cabin, all are very welcome.
This is a drop-in event. No booking required.
This event is part of a series of events taking place along Fife Coastal Path from 17th – 24th May for Beach of Dreams with Fife Coast & Countryside Trust.

Directions
Ravenscraig Walled Gardens on Google Maps
You can also follow the instructions below.
The gates to the garden are located at the Dysart end of Ravenscraig Park, on the corner of Dysart Road and West Quality Street. You will see the opening into Ravenscraig Park. Just next to this are two green metal gates beside a red brick wall and a sign ‘Ravenscraig Walled Garden’ – this is the entrance to our garden.
Once you find your way to the gate, go through the green gates and follow the path around to your right past the car park. Keep to the right and you will see a big space with lots of allotments. If you look to the left, you will see a green ‘cabin’ with a polytunnel and raised beds. That is our base for the event.
