Keen to get your kids cooking? Book them on to our Kids Cooking Club at the Lang Spoon Community Kitchen
Encouraging kids to get into the kitchen has many benefits. By preparing and cooking meals, children gain useful skills that stay with them for life. We’ll work out measurements and quantities, learn about using fresh and natural ingredients and discuss healthy choices. We offer all of this in a fun and friendly environment!
We’ll be making a savoury snack and a sweet treat.
Pasta and tomato sauce
Learn to make a fresh tomato pasta sauce with your choice of ingredients. You can have a go at cooking pasta too.
Strawberry tarts
Summer is strawberry tart time. Fife is famous for its homegrown strawberries, and we’ll using plenty to make these fruity tarts.
This workshop is for kids aged 5-10, and is suitable for enthusiastic beginners. All of our kids cooking clubs are suitable for vegetarians. Please bring containers to take home their creations.
